The Story Behind My Logo: A Tribute to My Dad and a Reflection of My Values

When I took the leap into self-employment, I eventually faced the question of which logo would truly represent me. I wanted to choose a symbol that touched me personally while also reflecting my work, my values and my vision.I thought about it for a long time – and then, suddenly, it was clear: it had to be the elephant. You might be wondering why this particular animal became my logo. The answer lies in my own story. The elephant was my Dad’s favorite animal – and for me, it is far more than just a symbol. It represents everything that matters to me: authenticity, trust, honesty and growth. My logo is a tribute to my Dad and the principles he instilled in me – principles that now shape my work.

The Connection to My Father: An Emotional Decision

I never actually found out why my Dad loved elephants so much – perhaps he admired their calm strength, their wisdom or their deep sense of connection. For me, the elephant is inextricably linked to him and reminds me of the values I learned through him: the importance of stability, trust and care. This deep connection not only influences me personally but also shapes my work as a business coach and consultant. That’s why the elephant became more than just my logo – it became a tribute to my Dad.

The Elephant’s Qualities: A Role Model for My Work

The more I learned about elephants, the more I realized how perfectly they symbolize my approach to work:

• Wisdom and Patience: Elephants are known for their intelligence and calm nature – they approach challenges with composure and trust in the process. This mindset inspires me and guides me in coaching and consulting my clients with the same sense of calm and foresight.

• Strength and Stability: Elephants radiate security and consistency. That’s exactly what I strive to offer my clients – a solid foundation on which they can grow and develop.

• Social Connection: Elephants live in close family groups and support each other. This sense of community is also essential to me – whether in teamwork or individual coaching. I aim to create an environment where trust and mutual support are at the core.

• Emotional Depth: Elephants are highly empathetic beings. They grieve for lost companions, show compassion and express joy. Emotional intelligence plays a central role in my work as well – supporting people, understanding their emotions, and guiding them through challenging times.

• Luck and Protection: In many cultures, elephants are considered symbols of good fortune. In Indian mythology, the elephant god Ganesha represents protection from obstacles and the ability to overcome difficulties. This symbolism reminds me that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.
