The more I engage with this topic, the clearer it becomes to me that trust is most visible when many things are still uncertain. In moments when we make decisions without having all the answers. When we move forward even though we don’t know how things will turn out.

What trust means to me

Trust, alongside authenticity and growth, is one of my three core values. For me, trust means believing in myself, having the courage to take new paths, and building stable, trusting relationships. And the more I reflect on it, the more I realize how closely these three aspects are connected.

Trust starts with me

For me, trust is always connected to self-trust. That’s also why I know how challenging it can be. There have been times when I didn’t trust my own decisions, questioned a lot, and found myself more in doubt than in clarity.

From that, questions emerged that still accompany me today:

• Do I trust my decisions?

• Do I trust my intuition, even when I can’t fully explain it?

• Do I trust that I can handle whatever comes?

This kind of trust rarely comes from certainty. It grows through experience, through moments when I moved forward even though not everything was clear.

The courage to take new paths

For me, trust becomes especially visible in moments when I choose a path that feels aligned, even if I don’t yet know where it will lead.

New paths always come with uncertainty. Doubt is part of it, just like the feeling of not being fully in control.

And still moving forward is often exactly the point where trust begins to grow.

Trust in relationships

Another level is trust between people.

For me, stable and trusting relationships are built on reliability, honesty, and openness. At the same time, I keep noticing how much this openness depends on how much I trust myself. How clear I am about what I think, feel, and communicate.

Why trust is challenging

Trust often means letting go of a certain level of control. And that’s difficult, because control feels safe.

At the same time, growth rarely happens in places where we hold on to everything.

Why trust is powerful

I notice the difference especially when trust is present: in how I deal with uncertainty, in the way I make decisions, and in how I relate to myself and others.

Decisions become clearer, there is more inner calm, taking steps feels easier, and relationships deepen.

Even when uncertainty remains, the way I relate to it changes:

👉 I can handle it.

👉 I will find my way.

Conclusion

For me, trust means moving forward even when questions remain. It means taking myself seriously and continuing step by step.

If you feel that doubt or the need for control is holding you back and you want to strengthen your trust in yourself and your path, I would be happy to support you.

Maybe in the end, it’s really about learning to trust yourself a little more, again and again.

Yours, Johanna
